The church was designed by God to be the “company of the committed.” Strangers will recognize that the church is the house of God if we as a congregation strive in our witness to be the caring community, thus recognizing that caring is life. Every building is erected for a specific purpose. Most structures serve a purpose for this world and for this life. While the church will be used only in this world and only during our lifetimes on this planetary level, the business of the church reaches beyond this life. The church is opened for the Lord’s business. God’s business is big business. His business deals with our souls and our salvation.
